Experience prevails

It was a thriller right up to the last minute: Markus Kleemann was elected Lord Mayor of Sindelfingen in the run-off election – with a lead of just 79 votes. The 40-year-old mayor of Oberstenfeld (Ludwigsburg district) prevailed in a high-caliber field of candidates.

The decisive factor was his mixture of experience and new beginnings: Kleemann scored points early on with his convincing track record and a clear vision for Sindelfingen. The strategy: emphasize administrative competence, shape the future – in a tight election campaign with strong competition. Kleemann came a close second in the first round of voting. The third-placed candidate – also the incumbent mayor – had to leave the field, but issued a recommendation for the 25-year-old first-placed candidate.

Challenge.

The challenge was clear: to build trust and win over new voters. To achieve this, we worked with the candidate to take things to the next level: a new poster campaign, concise social media content, direct communication – strategically well thought out and implemented with pinpoint accuracy.

What We
achieved.

As an agency, we supported the campaign from start to finish: from strategy development, website, content and social media to the entire print production and organizational support. Prominent supporter statements online in particular ensured visibility and credibility – and helped to shift the momentum.

In the end, we won. Close, but deserved.
